Inside the Pack
Inside the Pack is an independent home for University of South Dakota athletics coverage and conversation.
Created by Coyote fans, the site brings together original articles, the Back the Pack podcast, fan discussion, recruiting coverage, and new features designed specifically for the USD community. Our goal is simple: give Coyote fans a place to stay informed, share their opinions, and enjoy following USD athletics together.

Jake Conover
Back the Pack Founder & Contributor

Jake founded the Back the Pack podcast and leads the conversation on each episode. He brings energy, strong opinions, and a fan-first perspective to discussions about Coyote football, recruiting, conference news, and the biggest stories surrounding USD athletics.

Grant Lueders
Back the Pack Co-Host & Contributor

Grant is a Vermillion native, former legendary Tanager long snapper, and co-host of the Back the Pack Podcast. He spent the 2012-13 season as a student intern with Coyote Sports Properties/Learfield, getting a front-row seat to USD’s transition to Division I athletics. He’s been emotionally invested in Coyote football since – for better or for worse, and especially for the weekly forth-quarter blood pressure spikes every Saturday.

Austin Felts
Inside the Pack Founder & Back the Pack Contributor
Austin founded Inside the Pack to create a dedicated online home for Coyote fans. He contributes to the Back the Pack podcast and manages the site’s design and future features to build a stronger online community around USD athletics. He worked with USD football from 2015–2017 when his brother coached and continued his involvement by founding Barstool USD on social media.
